Profile:
Karsten has many years’ experiences working in the field of culture and health. He was involved in the Funen Arts on Prescription project 2021-2023, mentoring arts facilitators who were new to working with vulnerable audiences. Since 2002 Karsten has provided artistic outlets to patients with psychiatric diagnosis, including young people with eating disorders in psychiatric care services. Karsten is well-renowned for his work in this area, through exhibitions, as a conference spokesperson, and as an author. He is often commissioned by diverse organisations for his artistic work. Karsten has excellent personnel skills, project management and teaching expertise. He has extensive experience in planning and facilitating AoP activities for different target audiences, as well as the personnel skills required to work with vulnerable audiences. Additionally, he is knowledgeable on how to collaborate and engage with the culture and health sectors.

Ida-Marie has a master in music and has previously worked and has 20 years experience as a curator. She has been a culture and arts facilitator in both the Funen Arts on Prescription project 2021-2023 and in the Arts on Prescription in the Baltic Sea Region from 2023-2025. She has planned and facilitated a various range of activities combining storytelling, sensory walks, active listening, community singing, sculpting etc. Always keeping a strong focus on tailoring and adapting the activity to the specific target group. Ida-Marie has also shares her knowledge and perspectives into the Arts on Prescription guide with the aim of making it both relevant and easily accessible. Ida-Marie’s specific combination of strong professionalism, experience in project management and collaboration between many different types of institutions and stakeholders, insight into different target groups, and not least her excellent personnel skills make her a great partner in programs like Arts on Prescription.

Profile:
Radek is one of the pioneers in the field of Arts on Prescription in Denmark. Radek was a music arts facilitator in the first AoP pilot programme of Arts on Prescription in Nyborg (Denmark) from 2016 to 2019. As a pioneer and his experience in the field he was appointed mentor for arts facilitators in the Funen AoP project (AoP in nine municipalities) in 2022 and 2023. Alongside his musical career he is a professor in jazz studies at the Academy of Art in Szczecin (Poland), as well as board member for two cultural associations in Denmark and Poland. Radek is responsible for arranging concerts and other events. He has extensive experience in leading various musical activities in different settings for various groups of people, from children to seniors, including vulnerable audiences. As a medical university graduate he also has know-how and contacts in the health sector.

Poland

Profile:
Karol graduated from the State Higher School of Theatre in Krakow, Department of Dance Theatre in Bytom and private acting school “Art – Play” of Dorota Pomykała and Danuta Owczarek. He is co-founder of the international collective “Inter:ference”. He has performed in several theatres such as Adam Mickiewicz,  and Juliusz theatres  Słowacki and the Polish Theatre in Bielsko-Biała. Karol has participated at numerous international festivals and led diverse theatre workshops in Częstochowa, as part of the “Share Your Talent” project in Suwałki, Gołdap and Pułtusk, and at the Macau Conservatory in China as well as Istanbul. Karol as an arts facilitator in the Arts On Prescription pilot programmes in the Baltic Sea Region project, he facilitated the drama workshops – Musicial Vertigo. Karol has spoken at conferences in Bielsko-Biała and Gdansk, Poland, sharing his experience of working as an art facilitator on Art on Prescription programmes.

Name: Sylwia Różycka

Sylwia is a musical and dramatic actress with two decades of experience in the Polish theatre and stage. President of the START Foundation since 2021, with a cultural and sporting profile. In  both 2017 and 2021 Sylwia was awarded the Amber Ring Theatre Prize for the best actress of the season. In addition to a degree in the arts with a musical profile, she is also a journalist and coaching graduate, and in 2023, Sylwia graduated in management of cultural institutions. She is currently studying for an Executive MBA at the West Pomeranian Business School. As part of the Arts on Prescription pilot programme in the Baltic Sea Region project, Sylwia was responsible for drama workshops titled Musical Vertigo. She was also responsible for coordinating the work of the other art facilitators involved in the pilot action and for building connections, relationships and understanding between participants.
