The information in the guide is based on a generic AoP concept programme developed within the project “Arts on Prescription in the Baltic Sea Region” (2023- 2025).
Like all generic programmes, it is important they can be adapted to communities local context based on feasibility, challenges, limitations and community needs. The AoP Baltic Sea Region model can be tailored to municipality or regional needs and resources.
It is recommended to perform a mapping of existing local resources and circumstances, in order to adapt the model to your local context. You can find a full description of each pilot programme in the guide’s resources theme. Each pilot illustrates how the generic AoP concept has been adapted and applied in different settings.
AoP programmes largely involve existing local resources, with a focus on bringing cultural and arts professionals together, and being part of a cross-sectoral collaboration. Read more about cross-sectoral collaboration in AoP programmes here.
